Pretty much every kids portrait session ends up like this: an uncontrollable giggle fest! And this family portrait was no exception.. I love working with children - I love their energy and unbridled enthusiasm, and I love eliciting such natural response. Here are a few of my faves..024.jpg01a.jpg

so thankful

025.jpgWith so much to be thankful for I wanted to just take a moment to reflect on this past year and express my gratitude towards my amazing family and friends, and towards my wonderful clients. I know I say this often, but I feel so fortunate to be able to do a job that I love, and to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible array of people. Thank you for entrusting me with the honor of documenting your story. I am truly truly blessed. 014.jpg

and of course, this post wouldn’t be complete without a couple of shots of my pride and joy - Happy Thanksgiving!

Colorado Children’s Portraits

021.jpgI first met these boys a year ago last summer when I did their portrait session up at Red Rocks. Last week I had the opportunity to meet up with them again - I get such a kick out of working with my clients over and over again, having the chance to watch as families grow and develop over time.. And these two boys are such fun - they laugh and giggle and are a bundle of energy. Here are a few of my faves..041.jpg

Rebecca and Mark - married!

05.jpgI’m so behind in blogging - this time of year is just crazy! But I wanted to post a few of my favorites from Rebecca and Mark’s wedding. These two just exude happiness when they’re around each other - I love how Mark’s face lights up the moment he catches a glimpse of Rebecca.. and visa versa! So without further ado here’s just a sneak peek of their first dance:

Alissa and Josh’s wedding

091.jpgHere’s my updated blog post of Josh and Alissa’s fabulous wedding - they were married last week at St Paul’s near the capital building in downtown Denver. After the ceremony we had the some time to roam around LoDo before heading up to the Evergreen Lake House for the reception. It was cold. And rainy. And we had an absolute blast! Alissa and Josh are so much fun to be around - their enthusiasm is infectious! They happily braved the elements to capture these shots..

Congratulations, you two - warmest wishes to you both!
